About Us

With over 20+ years combined experience in AV, networking and electrical work, Electrical Contact brings a unique mix of skills to every project. Will’s background spans sound engineering and theatre tech, through to roles as an AV installer and support technician. Along the way, he developed a passion for electronics—building and repairing guitar FX pedals—which sparked a hands-on approach to problem solving.

Over the last 10 years, his expertise has expanded into networking, from self-hosting projects to professional UniFi installations. In the past 5 years, he’s delivered practical electrical work for homes and small businesses, while also supporting the community by fixing at Repair Cafés. A long-time smart home enthusiast, Will has used platforms like Home Assistant for years, bringing cutting-edge automation into real-world installs.
